The Asian Mantis is native to Southern Asia, They have the typical Mantis body shape and their
colouration ranges from a light brown to a bright green.

Max size adults can reach up to 10cm in size, making them one of the larger mantis species.
Diet They are a "greedy" species and if they are given the chance they will overeat, so it is essential that they are only fed appropriate sized food once or twice a week, this can include crickets, locusts and worms etc..
Housing A good setup will need to have plenty of ventilation that allows for good air flow, this will help prevent the growth of mould. It is essential that the enclosure is decorated with branches for climbing, you can use plants or bark for this. A substrate of coco fibre or moss can be used. The enclosure size should be at least twice the size of the body length. Mantis should always be housed singularly.
Sexing female praying mantis will have 6 abdominal segments while males have 8
